This is a movie about my lamb Fuzzy. We all have a lamb each, Blackie belongs to my little sister Ruby.
We use to feed them several bottles of milk a day, but now they are bigger they only get one bottle of milk for breakfast. They eat lots of grass! Fuzzy and Blackie went to preschool with our friend as they had a pet day and she doesn't live on a farm.
Hi Sophie, it sounds like you are having a great holiday. Your lambs are very cute! Thank you for sharing the information about your lambs. I live in Wellington- there aren't too many farms around here. You're very clever to make the iMovie. Nicola (Teacher at Worser Bay School, Wellington) http://tautoruandautahi.blogspot.co.nz/

ReplyDeleteReally great idea to think about Lamb and Calf Day and to document the work that you have been doing behind the scenes - there will be people who come to Lamb and Calf Day who haven't probably thought about the work that goes into it from behind the scenes, so I think it will get some people thinking. It will also be good to look back on this after the event has happened.

Thanks for posting your awesome shots of Fuzzy. She's a beautiful lamb and I loved the ear-kiss photo! This has given me great ideas for my students in the class I teach at Duntroon School. I am feeding a lamb called Muffin and you've inspired me to have a go at making a movie too. Muffin is a bit small yet so she is on 2 feeds per day. I will let you know when I post on our blog. ReplyDeleteThankyou for all of your comments. I can't wait to see your movie and muffin.
ReplyDeleteHi Sophie,
ReplyDeleteI found your post really interesting, thank you for sharing so much information. I really had no idea that so much hard work went into working on a farm, you must be very busy. I also liked your video about Fuzzy - that was very clever.
I shall look forward to coming back and reading more of your posts.
